Ilkley sits in the hills behind the coast, and its dogs mix quiet property life with occasional busy outings. Training has to work in both settings or it is not much use.
We build the foundations first: attention, name recognition and the basic positions. Then the practical skills, including loose lead walking, leaving things alone, polite greetings and recall. Higher levels add duration, distance and distraction so nothing falls apart under pressure.
Private in-home sessions let us work in the environment causing the trouble. Group classes are available too, and other dogs are the best test any training will face.
